US to Pull Some Personnel from the Middle East

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday U.S. personnel were being moved out of the Middle East because "it could be a dangerous place," adding that the United States would not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.

President Trump warned that a "massive war" could break out in the Middle East over Iran's nuclear program, after the U.N. nuclear watchdog said Iran wasn't complying with its nonproliferation duties.

@#1,2

So, my guess would be that the negotiations with Iran are not going well?

#3: The US has to stop acting the bully with Iran. The Obama administration, the EU, and the IAEA had a functioning deal with Tehran called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) until Dotard Trumpf recklessly pulled the US out of it during his first Reign of Terror because Benjamin Netanyahu didn't like it. " The Obama administration, the EU, and the IAEA had a functioning deal with Tehran called"

That "deal" was hot garbage. It SO empowered Iran and delayed their nuclear ambitions for just a few years.

Iran is a terrorist state and sponsor of terrorism. It needs to be isolated and weakened.

Meanwhile... Trampanzee's actions impressed them to such a degree.... thaaaaaatttt...

Here's the facts. The entire world watched Trumpanzee screw the pooch on this one his first term. Nothing you going to blather is going to change that fact. The chickens are coming home to roost.

You speak so blithely about Israel having a right to defend itself... doesn't Iran have the same right?

I'm going to ask again... we've been threatening Iran with this, that and the other for half a century... why don't we just go in and make them bend to our will?

Nuttywahoo insisted Iraq was a threat too... we saw how well that worked out...

We're supposed to trust him again?

Trump ended the Iran Nuclear Deal, which is why we are here now.

"That "deal" was hot garbage."

What lying outlet told you that garbage? It was a brilliant deal, because it gave the US monitoring access of the materials needed each step along the way to processing.

Netanyahu gave up the game when his rhetoric changed from "they're days away from acquiring the bomb" to "this would give them the bomb in five years."

US Sanctions against Iran; an Irreversible Disaster for Cancer Patients' (see NIH reports linked below).

Years ago, "Iran had been diverting much of its enriched uranium to peaceful scientific research and medical isotopes, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) report and intelligence obtained by Israeli sources."

But Dotard Trumpf recklessly withdrawing from the JCPOA during his first Reign of Terror led Iran to research uranium without IAEA inspectors. So here we are, warmonger Benjamin Netanyahu trying to maintain his shaky Knesset coalition and deal with a nettlesome corruption trial, attacks Iran to gain political points with his domestic constituents, killing scores if not hundreds, of people.

"Screw Iranian cancer patients getting chemo-therapy! Jewish lives are more important than Muslim lives! Argh!"

I don't generally post threads here, I'm not sure I really know how, but I am stunned that the only threads I am seeing about this conflict are those that reference Trump. This has the potential to evolve into a major, major WWIII level conflict. Can we talk about this?

Did you miss the "Israel hits Iran" thread?

@#15 ... the only threads I am seeing about this conflict are those that reference Trump. ...

Maybe, because Pres Trump appears to try to insert himself into any current news story? As he has done here.

Let's.

You start.

#16 Yes, I did miss that thread, now that I have seen it is still pretty tepid considering the stakes here.

Let me rephrase that. The thread that redial mentioned didn't appear until an hour after my post. So way overdue. I did post a thread, but doubtful it will make the front page. None of my threads ever have drudge.com

Well, welcome to the club.

I post a lot of threads on the Back Page, yet only a few seem to make it to the Front Page.
