Polls like this matter only when the subject is a public figure who must face voters again. El Rey Dotardo II knows that he cannot or will not face the voters in 2028. Let's all make sure the second option here is one put upon him by the rule of law and the public's ability to vote...

They also matter when the Republicans in the House are dependent on Trump being popular on the Ticket to win in a lot of Districts.

Right now they are wetting their beds over the Mid-Terms.

No surprise in the approval rating numbers for Godzilla. Next year Trumpf's popularity will have plummeted and the 2026 World Happiness Report will record the US lower than 24. Mexicans, dealing with violent drug cartels, enjoy a lower a GDP per capita than Americans ($22,100), yet are happier than their northern neighbors.

"World Happiness Report 2025 contains a ranking of the world's happiest countries. Finland leads the world in happiness for the eighth year in a row, with Finns reporting an average score of 7.736 (out of 10) when asked to evaluate their lives. Costa Rica (6th) and Mexico (10th) both enter the top 10 for the first time, while continued upward trends for countries such as Lithuania (16th), Slovenia (19th) and Czechia (20th) underline the convergence of happiness levels between Eastern, Central and Western Europe. The US (24th) falls to its lowest-ever position."

43% approval rating? Doubtful, given that as of this writing the S&P 500 index is down 15% from Inauguration Day. Since stock prices are prospective (i.e., they reflect estimates of future earnings), the decline in value cannot be blamed on Diamond Joe Biden, who is certainly the previous guy.

Come next Monday, El Rey Dotardo II and his MAGA munchkins will wish for 43% approval ratings...

Trump's approval rating will look like the last couple of day's stock charts before it's all said and done.
