Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's time at the helm of the largest executive department has been anything but smooth sailing.

US national security is an unmitigated catastrophe thanks to Dotard Trumpf and dipsomaniac Pete Hogsdeath who can't control his temper. Polygraph examinations are unpleasant but necessary for counterintelligence purposes, but they are not foolproof. Unwarranted interviews for the sake of a witch hunt are even worse. Hogsdeath is destroying morale at the DoD while wasting billions of dollars in Yemen and jeopardizing our boys and girls in uniform at USCENTCOM all at the same time. Exactly, he did not deny what was reported.

So, at least he seems to have some modicum of honesty.

Or fear of being held accountable for such a lie.

That aside, the apparent complacency of using an insecure Signal app on his personal phone seems to be lost on him and those in the two Signal group chats.

That complacency seems to indicate that such chats are more the norm than the outlier.

And that is concerning for National Security.
