Bear Kills Man and Dog in Collier County, Florida
Authorities were looking for the animals responsible after a Florida man and his dog were found dead from a suspected bear attack Monday.
Robert Markel (89) was discovered dead along with his dog at his home near the community of Jerome in Collier County after authorities were called shortly after 0700HRS. He and his dog were found in different areas, within a couple hundred yards of each other, Reynaud told reporters.
"We do know it was a bear attack. We don't know if it was the same bear or multiple bears," he said.
The attack on Markel and his dog, which occurred just south of the Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area, may have happened at different times.

Florida: Luxury Yacht Sinks Packed With Unemployed Youth Paid to be Social Influencers
The 32 people who make money as "social influencers" on the vessel were rescued without injury by the American taxpayer-funded USCG. The luxury yacht in question may have had a much lower passenger capacity. The American taxpayer-funded NTSB will surely investigate this incident.

Trumpf Says US Needs Nothing from Canada
Trumpf wrote on social media just before meeting with Canadian PM Mark Carney today that he wanted to work with Carney but didn't want to "subsidize" his country.
"We don't need their cars, we don't need their energy, we don't need their lumber, we don't need ANYTHING they have, other than their friendship, which hopefully we will always maintain. They, on the other hand, need EVERYTHING from us!"

The dysfunctional leader of a dysfunctional country meets the functional leader of a functional country.
Canada is the single largest purchaser of American products and Ontario is the largest single buyer of US-made liquor. The northeast buys electricity from Ontario and Quebec.
Trumpf Announces US Will Stop Bombing Starving Houthis
Dotard Trumpf announced that the US will stop its intense bombing campaign against the Houthis in Yemen after almost two months, saying the rebels had told Washington they "don't want to fight anymore."
Said Trumpf: "We will stop the bombings and they have capitulated."
USCENTCOM struck at least 800 targets in Yemen and killed hundreds of Houthis since March, wasting hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars.
Earlier today the New York Times reports the Houthis said something quite different: "Our military capabilities are advancing with each aggression, and our operations will continue."
For a change, the Houthis got to terrorize Israelis at Ben Gurion Airport the other day with a missile that penetrated the vaunted "Iron Dome" system: www.youtube.com

Canada PM Mark Carney Conferred With Dotard Trumpf in White House
Mark Carney told the Dotard that his country would be "never for sale" as they met at the White House amid tensions on tariffs and sovereignty. In their first Oval Office meeting, Trumpf insisted to the recently elected Carney that it would be a "wonderful marriage" if Canada agreed to his repeated calls to become the 51st US state.
But afterward both leaders hailed the talks as having made progress -- even if Carney said he had asked Trumpf in private to stop calling for Canada to join the US.
"As you know from real estate, there are some places that are never for sale," Carney told property tycoon Trumpf, comparing Canada to the Oval Office itself and to Britain's Buckingham Palace.
After the two-hour meeting both leaders struck a positive tone. Carney told a press conference that the trade talks were "complex" but that his two-hour discussions with Trumpf were "very constructive."
