Across the country, Republican lawmakers have been working to undermine or altogether undo the will of the voters by making it harder to pass amendments and laws through citizen-led initiatives.

Rwingers don't believe America is any kind of a democracy to begin with... just ask them.

And they werk very hard to make sure they are killing what little democracy we have left.

Precisely... who needs to worry about what voters want when you can buy their votes with money from the Corporations, through corrupt, biased media; also owned by the same corporations.

Which is why only public financing of elections and strong bribery laws for politicians and Corporations needs to be a thing.

Proposition 8 was funded by the LDS from outside of California, I remember.

I also remember an app that shown from where each donor was, quite alarming.

San Francisco is a gay mecca, and it's destruction by your "class" is historically just more bigotry on display.
