Those Better Be Really Nice Melons

A top competitor is the specialty musk melon on offer at Farm & Forage. Imported from Japan, it is sprung from tenderly cared-for vines. It sells for as much as $400. (To the undiscerning eye, it looks identical to a regular, grocery store cantaloupe.)

That's like buying coffee beans that came out a monkey's butt.

Cat. Cats eat the beans. Specifically the civet.

Personally I would consider paying $400 for two really nice melons.

If I get to play with them for a whole night.

I had that civet poop coffee. $12 for a small cup. Very smooth taste, kind of like between coffee and tea

Yeah, turns out the monkeys just spit the beans out.
