A growing numbers of lawmakers in Starmer's Labour Party have asking him to recognise a Palestinian state to put pressure on Israel.

There shouldn't even be a question. Recognize Palestine already.

And then provide humanitarian AND military assistance. Send food AND effective weapons so that Palestine can defend itself from the aggressor state next door.

Recognizing the Palestinian state should have been done decades ago because it's the right thing to do. Threatening to allow a people their right to exist only as a punishment to Israel is barbaric.

Got it, so the reward for killing 1200 civilians and keeping many hostages, many of which who died under their watch, is to give them what they want. I mean, I completely understand France doing it since it tracks in their history to just give up but not most other countries.

The liberal mentality of giving up just doesn't sit right with me, especially when it concerns bullies regardless of their size or capabilities.
