Hegseth Orders Urgent Military Brass Meeting

Pete Hegseth has ordered hundreds of the U.S. military's generals and admirals to gather on short notice " and without a stated reason " at a Marine Corps base in Virginia next week, sowing confusion and alarm after the Trump admin's firing of senior leaders this year.

Watch for a loyalty oath confrontation with military senior leaders

Isn't it required to have loyalty oath?
www.military.com

Maybe he's just having them repeat it.

when Biden did his sweep looking for MAGA republicans, wasn't this a form of "loyalty oath confrontation"?

Why didn't you see it that way? Why do you see it different now?

1Nut hasn't figured out the difference between loyalty to the Constitution and loyalty to Orange Adolph.

Trump's Generals and DOJ weren't more loyal to him last time, and he's not taking chances this time.

Did you even read your article? It has nothing to do with military members or government employees. It was going after private citizens who were trying to destabilize the government through terrorist activities and literally bragging about doing so.

What does that have to do with military leaders?

How stupid are you?

No...

Seriously...

How insanely stupid are you?

The military must pledge loyalty not to America, but to Trump.

Mass firing? Purge of those with competency and wide spread respect among the rank and file?

Putting everyone they think can be a problem in one place when they pull the trigger on martial law?

"Urgent meeting?"

The USSECDEF can broadcast any info to all the military commanders and senior officers via SVTC or secure email. Bringing all of them physically together in one location does not bode well on many levels. No sane leader would recall so many flag officers at the same time. The only countries that might attempt such a monumental and foolhardy undertaking would be Monaco, Lichtenstein, or Luxembourg: defense360.csis.org

@Josheeirl

"Stop calling us Nazis!"

Jan: Musk's raised-arm salute at Trump's inaugural parade echoes Nazi symbolism.

Feb: Trump purges Kennedy Center, bans "woke" art - like Hitler's degenerate art purge.

Mar: Mass firings of federal officials mirror Nazi Gleichschaltung.

Apr: Trump pushes "truth as power" - a propaganda tactic used by Nazis.

Sept: Hegseth summons 800 generals to Washington - echoes Hitler's military purge.

Stop doing/supporting Nazi ---- and maybe we'll stop calling you Nazis.

Apparently, Zelenskyy privately warned NATO and US of major offensive by Ukraine... while publicly speaking of Russia's aggression against NATO.

Vlad is running low on fuel, and may be about to lash out with more ballistic missiles.

Whether Drinky Pete is telling the Generals to be ready for war or to be ready to sit back and watch is anyone's guess.

Not great to have all the leadership in one place, especially if we're going to war.

But they're not paying me the big bucks so wtf do I know.

There are about 800 generals and admirals spread across the US and dozens of other countries and time zones. Kegsbreath's order applies to all senior officers with the rank of Brigadier General or above, or their Navy equivalent, serving in command positions and their top enlisted advisers. Typically, each of these officers oversees hundreds or thousands of rank-and-file troops.

Senior flag officers travel with entourages and bodyguard details. This will be a huge, expensive, and risky undertaking. Henderson Hall may have the space to accommodate all of these leaders and their aide-de-camps, staff, and bodyguards.

It seems possible that the imminent arrival of 3I ATLAS near Mars is creating a secret crisis within the US Gov. This crisis is apparently military and has prompted a massive meeting of senior mil. officers by the Sec. of War

"Mysterious Object Screaming Toward Mars Is Huge and Far More Massive Than Scientists Thought, According to New Paper

It's absolutely enormous."

Researchers have been fascinated by the object, generally believed to be a comet, finding that it's made up of far more carbon dioxide than expected.

Now, Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb, who has extensively examined the possibility that 3I/ATLAS is an artifact from an advanced extraterrestrial civilization, suggests that the object could be far more massive than previously thought.

By analyzing its trajectory, Loeb and his colleagues found that its "non-gravitational acceleration" was "smaller than 49 feet per day, squared," in a recent blog post. We also know how much mass it was shedding in the form of gases and dust particles.

From this data, Loeb inferred that the "mass of 3I/ATLAS must be bigger than 33 billion tons."

"Hegseth's mysterious meeting with generals will focus on grooming and warrior ethos

The event, which will draw top brass from around the world, will function as a pep rally of sorts.

The secretive meeting will serve as a kind of pep rally where Hegseth focuses on conduct and expectations for military leadership, according to three military officials and a congressional aide familiar with the planning.

Almost every general and admiral in the U.S. military, including many from global commands, will need to show up Tuesday at a military base in Quantico, Virginia. The unprecedented event will be one of the only times such an assembly of senior military leaders has been in the same space.

President Donald Trump on Thursday framed the event as a friendly meetup, even as some defense officials called it little more than a photo op.

The speech will be filmed and possibly aired at a later date, according to another one of the officials."
