(1) Via social post, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) slammed the GOP push to unify around COVID Communist' Andrew Cuomo: "I'm amazed at how many Republicans have suddenly forgotten or completely don't care that Cuomo killed elderly people in nursing homes by putting COVID patients IN the nursing homes and enforced some of the most insane Covid lockdowns in the country! But are now saying the NY Republican mayoral candidate should drop out so that the literal COVID Communist, Cuomo, can win and become mayor of NY again. I can't even imagine if my mother or father was murdered in a New York nursing home because of Andrew Cuomo putting Covid patients in the nursing homes and then telling me that I have to vote for him. Are you kidding me? If [Zohran] Mamdani wins, then he will show all of America what his policies look like in action and all the Democrats endorsed him. And people can move out of NYC, I honestly don't know how they live there in the first place!"

The polling I've seen tosses the outcome into the margin of error of the polls should Mr Sliwa drop out.

Honestly, Mamdani may be just what NYC needs. If he wins and truly sticks to his promises, we will all see the results. In the event that NYC thrives and becomes a beacon for other large cities to follow (LMAO) I will be the first to say I was wrong.

Given that people are willing to vote for Mamdani and for Trump, it still boggles my mind that people view entertaining voting for a 3rd party candidate as a wasted vote. Everyone seems to be sick of "traditional" politicians, but can't seem to break out of the "traditional" party mindset.

Next election give both parties a big middle finger and vote for a 3rd party candidate. The wake up call to both parties that we aren't going to vote for your crap or the extremists running under your banner would be immense.

Depends. If NYC continues its downward trend, living up to its moniker as "ungovernable" then the Republicans will win the next Presidential election.

Mamdani is making alot of the same promised Newsom and Bass did after the Palisades fire, I doubt he can deliver not because he's bad mayor, just the whole NYC government is a mess, legally.
I get it, offering to do your best isn't going to win votes, but like Eric Adams he won't make headway on the problems the city has, with subway crime, housing etc.

Remarkably enough, at the debate last night Curtis Sliwa condemned the death threat against Zohran Mamdani, a case being prosecuted by Queens DA Melinda Katz. Andrew "AIPAC" Cuomo did not.

Sliwa, an animal lover, will show more integrity by staying in the race and losing than the Judas Iscariot of the Democratic Party.

Simply on the raw, naked fact that Dummkopf Trumpf wants Zohran Mamdani to lose should be enough to get EVERY single Democrat and non-Republican behind Zohran. There are approximately 570,000 registered Republicans in NYC (26%), Democrats make up the majority at 56%.

So, what gives? Why aren't ALL NYC and national Democrats behind Zohran Mamdani? Heck, Vermont US Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) came down to NYC to campaign with Zohran.
