Both parties sold out the hourly worker and outsourced their jobs to people who make pennies on the dollar to what Americans were making.

It's safe to give NAFTA credit for significantly increasing real trade among its signatories. Unfortunately, that's where the easy assessments of the deal's effects end.

Now that you mention it: I voted for Perot in 96.
I agreed with him on that "Great Sucking Sound" thing. And you're thinking about men's penises after reading that.

This was back when Pat Buchanan pointed out that on the major issues like NAFTA, both parties are the same.
This was when I realized that if Pat Buchanan is the voice of reason, my political views just don't have a home in American politics.
But, Democrats are much closer to being right on the issues than Republicans are.

NAFTA was both party's policy and also pimp its success for the American CEO.

This was back when people weren't as acutely aware of the boss makes a dollar, you make a dime economy we have come to accept in the past thirty years.
