Don't worry, Donald Trump will protect us from these mean old hurricanes.

But if one should hit the United States,

I'm sure that his disaster response will be a model of efficiency and compassion.

That's great
It starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes
An aeroplane
And Lenny Bruce is not afraid
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs, don't misserve your own needs..

It's the end of the world as we know it ...

But I feel fine.

Melissa has had 215mph guests, but not sustained.

Melissa has tied the record for highest sustained winds at landfall (185mph) with The Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 and Dorian (2019). It has also tied the 1935 storm for lowest mbar pressure (892) at landfall.
Allen (1980) achieved 190 mph sustained winds and Wilma (2005) and Gilbert(1988) had lower mbar but those storms weakened before landfall.
