The entire purpose of Project 2025 was to destroy the government with the dream of letting the states handle the jobs the feds used to do. That is why they targeted FEMA, Dept of Education, NWS, CDC, USDA, etc.

NWS was targeted because the authors of P2025 want to ignore the risks and threats of climate change for the benefit of the fossil fuel industry and is also why green energy tax credits were killed in the One Big Bull**** Bill.
