Growing Number of House Republicans sign on to effort to force vote on ACA

Growing number of House Republicans sign on to effort to force vote on ACA subsidies -- defying Speaker Johnson

More

The cruel irony of Republicans voting down ACA subsidies is that it will end up hurting Trump voters the most. 57% of ACA Marketplace enrollees live in congressional districts represented by a Republican. They're selling out their own voters.

"This move comes as the subsidies are set to expire at the end of the month, which will prompt health premiums for more than 20 million Americans to soar."

While Johnson has not yet unveiled the specifics of his plan, an extension of the ACA subsidies is currently not expected to be included in the package. Johnson said the bill will "probably" be unveiled over the weekend ahead of next week's anticipated vote."

@#1 ... What, they want to keep their jobs or something? ...

The choice that seems to be in front of many (most?) GOP Congress folk of late looks to be: step on to the Trump train, or be subject to a primary and lose.
