Anything goes on this thread. So post whatever y'all want. But I'll try to stay with media theme songs (emphasis on "try"). The cited link is A Swingin' Safari by Bert Kaempfert (1962). A theme of the TV show, The Match Game back in the day.

Gene Kelly - Singin' in the Rain (Clockwork Orange 1972 film)
www.youtube.com
Such an upbeat tune from such a, I'll be kind, disturbing movie.
A fav, albeit obscure, movie that I enjoyed back in the 1980's ...
Together In Electric Dreams / From "Electric Dreams" Original Motion Picture (1984)
www.youtube.com
OK, the song is from 1935, but the show (PBS' This Old House) was not as old ...
Fats Waller - Louisiana Fairy Tale (1935)
www.youtube.com
The full version of this Cheers theme song, complete with the verse that is usually omitted ...
Gary Portnoy - Everybody Knows Your Name
www.youtube.com
W.G. Snuffy Walden - West Wing Suite
www.youtube.com
Yeah, I often watch the West Wing DVDs that I have to assuage me that Pres Trump's reign of terror upon the Constitution is only a temporary thing.
That aside, from what I've heard, the producers of The West Wing decided that a more classical music oriented music background would be better for the show than the original rock-oriented music background that had originally proposed.
imo, good decision.
Ten Wheel Drive - Morning Much Better (1970)
www.youtube.com
Lyrics excerpt ...
...
How many times have I told you, baby
That I'd do anything you say
But listen here, daddy
I got a new feeling
That you can't do me this way
Ain't said no to your love
And never did and never never plan to do
But if you want to keep me happy, baby
Better hear what I'm saying to you
Coming to night I might dig being up
For floating around on a cloud
Watching people walking past my window
Playing my music out loud
Coming to noon I can't think about nothing
But the daylight blazing through
And the afternoon is a no count time
'Cause I got my business to do
Well I could probably function
For a little conjunction, yeah
But I usually like it
In the morning much better, yeah
Most people think that the midnight trip
Is the proper kind of scene
But I come on feeling very foggy
And I never can cut it too clean
People think they're at the top of their form
After staying up half of the night
But I know after a good night's sleep
Well I can get it on all right
I ain't never resisted, lord
When you have insisted, no
But I usually like it
In the morning much better, yeah
Early in the morning with the sun just up
And the air so fresh and sweet
Folks just getting their boots pulled on
And they're straggling out to the street
Taken their time while before they start
In to cutting on their wood
I can't say just what it is sugar
But I know it sure feels good
Pull the curtain behind me, yeah
You better come find me
'Cause I usually like it
In the morning much better

A song that I can feel with (understatement ...)
Cascades - Rhythm of the Rain (1963)
www.youtube.com
Lyrics excerpt ...
...
A one hit wonder (1963) that kept the band and the songwriter's (John Claude Gummoe) well known 50+ more years.
Per Gummoe "
the lyrics began while I was serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Jason AR8. I was standing a mid watch on the bridge while we were underway to Japan. We were sailing up in the north pacific and it was raining heavily and the seas were tossing.
[Verse 1]
Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain
And let me be alone again
[Verse 2]
The only girl I care about has gone away
Looking for a brand-new start
But little does she know that when she left that day
Along with her, she took my heart
[Chorus]
Rain, please tell me now does that seem fair
For her to steal my heart away when she don't care?
I can't love another when my heart's somewhere far away
she took my heart
