"Zelenskyy reiterated that no lasting resolution to the war can be reached without credible security guarantees for Ukraine. He stated that the signing of such guarantees must precede other agreements.

"I would very much like us to first sign the security guarantees and then sign other documents. This is not only about fairness, but also about trust," he said."

"There is talk from the American side about ending the war by the beginning of summer," Zelenskyy said, adding that no indications have been received suggesting the US might exit the negotiation process if that deadline is missed.

"It is important that the Americans remain engaged," he noted."

Putin is simply gonna dump billions into Trump's Qatari bank account and buy the Ukraine.

I have no idea why Zelensky is still working with Trump and his fascist administration, it's obvious Trump has zero interest in helping the Ukraine.

I have no idea why Zelensky is still working with Trump

I think he is trying to look reasonable so as not to alienate the few republicans that still support Ukraine in the hope that they can convince Trump not to abandon Ukraine.

Volodomir Zelensky is doing a couple of three things:

1) Mafia-style, he is keeping his friends close, but his enemies even closer.

2) Exactly what FedUpWithPols wrote. Cold War Republicans are Ukraine's allies. And anti-Kremlin DOD, DIA, and CIA personnel will return to the flock one day, post-Trumpf. The US holds elections on Tuesday 7 Nov 2028. Plus Dummkopf Trumpf and Vladimir Putin can't live forever.

3) Zelensky understands the long bending arc of history. Ukraine and Russia's borders have changed over the years and will most likely do so again. Crimea, in fact, belonged to neither Russia nor Ukraine centuries ago.

Trusting Putin is like trusting Trump...shows that one is either about five years old, mentally, or one is in on the grift.
Putin promised that Ukraine would be safe if they gave up their nukes...Putin is like Netanyahu, working to eliminate a neighbor state and put its citizens in concentration camps.
