Japanese culture was victimized several times: Star Wars, The Magnificent Seven, etc.

Music composer John Williams lifted from the masters for his Hollywood epics as well.

You can hear Gustav Mahler's The Planets (Opus 32) in his theme for Star Wars.

John Williams admitted he was influenced (he lifted) from previous masters: Igor Stravinsky, Richard Wagner, Gustav Holst, Erich Wolfgang Korngold.

His pre-Hollywood TV work seemed more original.

If Hegseth knew he wasn't quoting actual scripture then why did he ask them all "pray with me."? Seems to me it goes from being an hilarious goof to a sacrilegious insult to those he asked to pray with him. Hegseth would be better off just being stupid than to be considered so flippant about a prayer he asked the pilots and crews to join him in.

As for Hegseth, in his attempt to turn a four-petaled tulip into a five-petaled one, notice how he edited out "in the name of charity and good will". No doubt he had to look those words up in a dictionary before deciding to strike them out.
