That's probably good advice considering the rapid decay in Trump's ability to think or act with any degree of clarity.

Crazy delusions could take control of Trump's meandering thought processes at any time . . . day or night. . . and without warning.

We really are living in the twilight zone while Trump flips and flops around between Iran, Cuba and Greenland, all the while ducking and dodging the Epstein files plus keeping Russia off his back and, at the time, plotting and scheming a way to do a work-around the Supreme Court's decision to cancel his beloved tariffs.

Also add to the above the many plots Trump is hatching to lie and cheat his way around losing the House (a near certainty) and the Senate majority in the midterms.

That a full plate for a newly minted dictator who is trying to run a one-man show with half a brain.

Too late. The control freak for regime change in Iran has already started.

Under the War Powers Resolution of 1973, the President can commit U.S. armed forces to hostility abroad for 60 days without explicit Congressional approval, plus a 30-day withdrawal period (90 days total). The President must notify Congress within 48 hours of deploying troops and, if no authorization is passed, remove forces within the 60-day window."

I don't know what it's called when the President short-shifts Congress on the 48 hr. part.

Also, he just blew some positive ongoing negations to smithereens.

And since he didn't give any clear policy initiatives in his speech. it raises suspicions about his real motives . . . other than the fact that he brought in the biggest military armada seen in decades and had to attack so he wouldn't look like the blundering fool that he is.

I'm aware of all that which is why I question the ulterior motives. BTW, the Senate is going to vote on Trump's actions next week even if the vote is days late and after the fact.

But does it really matter? Trump sidelined the lazy-ass Senate and went rogue a long time ago . . . with their permission.

Now it's time to reap what they sow . . . if Cadet Bonespurs screws this thing up (and he will) and causes this military action to expand beyond regional.

Simply, even if they find the courage to vote against Trump's "no-emergency" attack on Iran, they're too yellow-bellied to follow through.

I also wonder who among the GOP controlled Senate are grateful for a diversion from the 24/7 drip-drip-drip coverage of the Epstein files for fear it's their turn for their own name to pop up next.

I guess the names of a few lobbyists could be added to that list of gratefuls, too.

Or maybe some of Jarad Kushner's associates.

Trump has a lot to cover up. Some of whom would squeal in him to save themselves.

That's probably true. Trump has been playing "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe" with his choice of targets for weeks.

He thinks it keeps people confused as to what he's really going to do.

Moving the aircraft carriers to Iran was a dead giveaway.

Now we're wondering if those big ships can make a U-turn or do they have to back out in reverse gear.
