California Fires Map Shows Size of Area Burned Compared to Other Cities www.newsweek.com
... New maps constructed by Newsweek have revealed the extent of the damage caused by wildfires in California when compared to other cities. Why It Matters The wildfires in Southern California have led to the evacuations of over 130,000 people and have destroyed over 10,000 structures. Overlaying the wildfire outbreak across other major U.S. cities shows that the blaze is one of the worst in United States history, as it continues to spread across residential areas in Los Angeles. What To Know When the surface area of the fires in Southern California is projected onto New York City, it shows that the entirety of Manhattan would fit inside the destroyed land, along with several other parts of the city. This would result in 1.6 million people being forced to leave their homes. ... In Houston, the most populous city in Texas, the fires would be large enough to stretch from Fairbanks to East Houston, displacing around half the city's 2.3 million population. ...

What's so unusual and terrifying is most So Cal wildfires occur in the mountains surrounding downtown, not the city itself. Altadena abuts the San Gabriel mountains but most of the devastion is down the hill across into the city proper. Also, the houses along the PCH in Malibu ARE NEXT TO THE OCEAN. Like Lahaina, the winds pushed flames to places they've never been. And you ------- MAGAT clowns try to make it political. You ------- miscreant -------- -----.

@#1 ... the destroyed land ...
Yeah, that seems to be an euphemism for, ~you lost everything beside what you are currently carrying.~
For thousands of houses and the families that occupy those houses

--even an ignorant psychotic lemming like you and your DR inbred cousins should be able to understand that simple concept

Just found out Newsom and the CA State Legislature don't count emissions from wildfires when determining if they reached their arbitrary climate change goals.

I pointed out in the actual budget PDF's where you are incorrect. Best pack that talking point away, its a misrepresentation.
