OK, adding context, I'll relate an event from my past ...
I was not even a teen at the time. A memory that has stayed with me. ...
I was outside playing in the snow. And I saw a car coming up the street. So I made a snowball, and threw it at the car.
As an unlikely coincidence, my Dad happened to be watching me at the time. He called me into the house, and read me the riot act about throwing snowballs at cars.
I told him that I would not do that again. But I also asked him, didn't you throw snowballs at cars when you were a kid?
His answer surprised me.
He said, ~no I didn't. I threw snowballs at horses.~
I appreciated his honesty, and did not throw a snowball at a car (or a horse) after that.

But shooting a child for throwing a snowball at a car?
What does the GOP have to say about this incident?
