The Senate confirmation hearing for Trump's nominee to lead the Social Security Administration has begun. Frank Bisignano, a 65-year-old whose long career had him at the head of multiple financial companies, told CNBC in February that he is "fundamentally a DOGE person" but "the objective isn't to touch benefits," according to the Associated Press.

Corporate shylock Frank Bisignano is another crook. Trumpf is purposely selecting vultures to pick dry the bones of the American people:

Gut arbet, Republican voters. You chose a president whose SSA administrator is a corporate debt-collector with access to all the data in the SSA. I guess Republican voters never have any issues with debt collectors or "repo men," and elderly Republicans will have an uninterrupted flow of their SS checks in the future.

#4 and #5: Unfortunately most Congressmen and Senators, regardless of political party, are intertwined with Wall Street and hold investment portfolios, making them all "centrists." In addition, Congressmen and Senators enjoy generous retirement programs, so they are insulated from the economic shocks that affect 99% of Americans. Look at the opposite: Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) and his wife own no investments or cryptocurrency, strictly relying on their salary, home, and pensions for financial security. The ones to stand up to the GOP and the oligarchs are the Tim Walzs, Bernie Sanders, and AOCs of the US. Ergo, the nation must move left to save the American people.

I get that, but they also are accountable to their constituents. When you look at what that idiot DeJoy did to USPS, I can only imagine what this one will do to SS/MC. I mean 90% on time delivery down to 60% and a massive drop in revenue - that's Republican efficiency. Don't get me wrong I know they are trying to destroy USPS - but they are trying to destroy SS/MC as well. The elderly are a massive voting block you don't want to PO.

"The elderly are a massive voting block you don't want to PO."

There's no Claude Pepper to trick Republicans into give two ----- about the elderly anymore.
