The South Korean government announced on Sunday that it reached a deal with the United States to secure the release and repatriation of over 300 of its citizens who were detained during a sweeping U.S. immigration enforcement action at a Hyundai manufacturing plant in Georgia. A charter flight will be arranged when all administrative steps are finalized, according to presidential chief of staff Kang Hoon-sik. The immigration enforcement operation took place on Thursday when U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 475 individuals, mostly Korean nationals, at a Hyundai electric vehicle battery plant shared with LG Energy Solution near Ellabell, Georgia.

"And what's the penalty for Hyundai?"

The cost of having the plant closed indefinitely is the strongarm part of the penalty.

Someone check if the cable outlets been showing "You Can Take This Job And Shove It" for the late show recently, giving Trump this idea.

You were so excited about writing the headline you forgot to figure out what really happened. They were construction workers at a facility being built next to the auto plant. apnews.com

Why aren't these criminals being sent to El Gulago, Alligator Alcatraz, and whatever other pet names for fascism they have now.

There isn't a Republican who can tell me why it should be that these criminals get a charter flight out but tens of thousands of others are sent to camps at massive taxpayer expense.
