The central bank does not have its usual jobs and unemployment figures because of the government shutdown. An errant disclosure may have robbed it of some private data, too.

Next week, the Fed is meeting to decide interest rates, but they'll have to do it without the most recent jobs data. The data is ready to go, but the Trump Admin is just sitting on it. What do they have to hide? Release the data.

Just extrapolate the trend from the last quarter and go with that.
