WASHINGTON " Senate leaders have struck a bipartisan agreement to keep the government funded past the 2026 midterm elections and avoid a politically tricky shutdown in October. Funding currently expires at the end of Sept. 30, triggering a full government shutdown on Oct. 1 if Congress fails to act.

"AIPAC Democrats Fccking Suck"

These are the same status quo dinosaurs who didn't vote to impeach Dummkopf Trumpf when he first attacked Iran in June 2025.

Boy, did the AIPAC Democrats bark and yelp when Dummkopf Trumpf attacked Venezuela though.

These malparisos caved in on the BBB and DOGE too, thanks to Israeli Senator Chuck Schumer (NY).

AIPAC Democrats are warmongers who want to keep Israel fully armed and maintain ICE and DHS -- just tweak them a little bit -- but keep Amerikkka's Gestapo to rid the country of "undesirables."

Bibi and the American oligarchs are pleased that The Matrix will continue.

The continuing resolution, or "CR," was announced Sunday by Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Vice Chair Patty Murray, D-Wash. It would keep funds flowing at existing levels until Dec. 11.

Congress is just too lazy, probably the President as well to produce a new budget every year, so the Us goes through these CR deals, its not a way to run a country.

To say nothing of the vile, onerous ---- that will be funded=arch, ice, war, weaponization of the DoJ.

Do you even read the articles you post?

Murray said the bill fixes issues Democrats had with the House-passed version and "rejects Trump's frivolous war spending wish list." She said it closes "loopholes" for the administration to transfer funds from existing programs to Border Patrol, which she said "desperately needs reform, not more money." And she said it blocks implementation of a proposal by the White House budget office that would "allow Trump officials to cancel grants at any time for any reason."

This is why David Hogg said that the DCCC "sucks" or "picks terrible candidates" [sic] and the DSA folks are on the rise nationwide.

See Zohran Mamdani (D-NY) or Brad Lander (D-NY) stories for more info.

You know if they voted against it then Republicans would be able use that to blame them for any economic instability around election time, and many voters with short attention spans would fall for it. What exactly would Democrats have to gain from it, other than the approval of a small group of activists?
