Saw him in the early 80's in a small venue bar downtown in Austin one night. Had never heard of him before, but... wow!

Al Dimeola short.

Sat right up front for him at the Blue Note in NYC 20 or so years ago. Had seen him with Return to Forever in 74 and 75. I've still never figured out how musicians get that proficient by age 19.

@#23 ... The Story In Your Eyes ...

Moody Blues, a fav group of mine.

Moody Blues - Dream Sequence (1969)
www.youtube.com

Back in the back I remember (early 1970's) going over to Madison Square Garden with a few of my Frat Brothers to see them perform.

Then we all, sleeping bags in trunk, drove to an alumnus' home in Philadelphia to see that concert the next evening in the [then-called] Philadelphia Spectrum.

After the concert, we spent the night in our sleeping bags on his living room floor.

The Moody Blues concerts back then were most excellent.

The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd were the two groups that gave me the most memorable contemporary concert experiences of that time.
