ICE Detains Buddhist Palestinian Scholar

ICE detained another Palestinian scholar who protested the genocide in Gaza in 2024. Mohsen Mahwadi, a permanent resident in Vermont, was getting ready to take his US citizenship test when he was arrested. The agents tried to grab him in an elevator, then piled on him in a lobby, knocking an old man to the ground whom everyone just ignored.

ICE determines this man has no rights en route to his citizenship.

#1: Concur. Before the militarization of the police in the US, detectives, investigators, or SAs would arrest an offender without a tackle team. A pair of investigators was all that was needed without undue violence or a massive show of force. cdn.shopify.com

A bounty hunter in NYC told me he caught absconders by surprise while they were washing their laundry or when they were eating. No violence and he worked alone.
