#2: The USG gets the money, like when Americans request an expedited passport from the State Dept for $60. USCIS already charges fees for paperwork: my.uscis.gov

"like when Americans request an expedited passport from the State Dept for $60."
It's $130 for a passport. Expedited is another $60 on top.
Passports used to be feee. That's right, there used to be a free Federal ID in this country that was valid for any Election.
If Republican's weren't using Voter ID to suppress the vote, Republicans would support a free Federal ID that is valid for any Election.

No, I mean who really gets the money?
This strikes me as another Trump grift.

I meant $60 as an additional fee to the standard $130. Here's an old federal ID card that used to work: cdn8.openculture.com

" Usual question: Who gets the money?"
Most likely the treasury. It would likely be treated like a tax.

Not for everyone, there are waivers for low income, battered spouse,
Passports used to be feee.

"thats when the US started tariffs too."
Completely wrong, the US started with Tariffs, 95% of Federal income was tariffs when George Washington was President. And 90% of Federal spending was the War Department.
Take your lies back to China, they will serve you better there.

Another lie, Voter ID laws came to the US in 1950, almost 100yrs after the Free Passports disappeared.

It was a 5% tariff. Nothing to write home about. The US wasn't started with tariffs, it had to build the navy, because were muslims kidnapping US citizens. So it raised a tariff.

You've lied in almost every post. When you post I can just search and find you are lying.
Why don't you do your own research instead of just flat out lying?
