... The conservative activist named by President Donald Trump as the head of the Justice Department's "Weaponization Working Group" said Tuesday he planned to "name" and "shame" individuals the department determines it is unable to charge with crimes, in what would amount to a major departure from longstanding Justice Department protocols. Ed Martin described himself at a press conference as the "captain" of the group that is investigating prosecutors who launched past investigations into Trump and his allies. "There are some really bad actors, some people that did some really bad things to the American people. And if they can be charged, we'll charge them. But if they can't be charged, we will name them," Martin said. "And we will name them, and in a culture that respects shame, they should be people that are ashamed. And that's a fact. That's the way things work. And so that's, that's how I believe the job operates." ...

So, Pres Trump looks to be doing exactly what he has, without any evidence whatsoever, accused fmr Pres Biden of doing, weaponizing the DoJ?

The irony is that the name of this group includes the word 'weaponization', which was exactly what Trump and his people accused the last couple of Democratic administrations of, yet the description of what their charter is going to be, it sure sounds like an attempt to 'weaponize' the DOJ.
That being said, using the vocabulary of one Donald J Trump, this has all the markings of a "witch hut" (I'll leave it to Trump to use all-caps).

Small people do small things. People like MLK jr, or Barack Obama think of the many and do the great. Trump is just a little boy who physically grew up but is still about his privilege and ability to play at being god since he is rich as god.

It's a well known fact now that Trumpy's accusations are also his confessions.
Like when Trumpy says only he can fix the tax code. Because he has been able to cheat on his taxes forever only he can plug those loopholes. Because he knows exactly where they are and how to use them.

There should be no problem making the information public as long as it is factual -AND- the government can be held liable if it is responsible for false and/or uncorroborated information being made public. In some respects it would make people less suspicious of the DOJ failing to investigate a crime that could prove embarrassing to a powerful person.
