The Trumpf junta is working on a plan to permanently relocate up to one million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya. In exchange for the resettling of Palestinians, the junta would potentially release to Libya billions of dollars of funds that the US froze more than a decade ago. No final agreement has been reached and ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu has been kept informed of the junta's plans. AI calculates that under ideal conditions (logistics, safe passage, convoy safety), if 2,000 people per day were moved, the process would take ~500 days (~1.5 years) and would conservatively cost $4.5 to $10 billion. A realistic to high-end estimation: $8 to +$15 billion.

Libya is struggling to care for its current population as two rival governments, one in the west led by Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and one in the east led by General Khalifa Haftar, are actively and violently fighting for control. The State Department currently advises Americans not to travel to Libya "due to crime, terrorism, unexploded landmines, civil unrest, kidnapping, and armed conflict." General Khalifa Haftar and his faction have been implicated in war crimes: Link One

How are you going to build the Trump Gaza Beach Hotel and Casino if you don't eat, er, remove, your Palestinians?

#2: Hi Corky: And in Trumpf's diminished capacities, he thinks that all Arabs are the same, not understanding the tribal nature, linguistic variations, or schools within Sunni Islam. Think mixing Apaches with Iroquois on a reservation.

On language differences, I used the word "crazy" that I learned in Iraq with someone from North Africa who used a different word for it. I switched to tiara akali and then he got it.

The Arabs more akin to the Libyan tribes might be the Israeli Bedouins who serve in the IDF, not the less tribalized Palestinians: i.dailymail.co.uk

But the Bedouins are not the ones on the chopping block for mass removal (yet).

"permanently relocate up to one million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya"

Oh great so now it's Libya's problem.

I hate to say it but this only fuels global anti-Semitism, and it's being done because anti-Semitism is key to Netanyahu's political thesis.

Regardless of all that, the good news is Libya is a modern advanced country with a stable government , not some backwater hellhole where these refugees will be easy marks for ISIS.

I read a report today where Israel has a plan for a post-Islamist Gaza. It appears to be modelled on the Marshall Plan from WWII.
It worked out very well for Germany. There is no reason it would not work in Gaza.

From the article, the Palestinian leadership (whatever is left) had no idea about this scheme. I imagine the smartest man in the area, King Abdullah of Jordan may have had an idea thanks to his efficient intelligence service.

BTW: Millions of Palestinians reside in refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan. Per Wiki:

Jordan: Some 2.18 million Palestinians were registered as refugees in 2016. As of 2014, around 370,000 live in ten refugee camps, with the biggest one being Baqa'a refugee camp with over 104,000 residents, followed by Al-Wehdat refugee camp with over 51,500 residents. Minority Rights Group International estimated that there are around 3 million Palestinians in Jordan.

Lebanon: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported 489,292 registered Palestine refugees as of March 2023 but estimated that no more than 250,000 were then resident in Lebanon.

And then there seems to be this ...

Have Trump and Netanyahu fallen out over Gaza?
www.dw.com

... US President Donald Trump's tour of the Gulf states this week -- to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates -- was closely followed in Israel.

Trump did not visit Israel -- a snub that Israeli officials played down, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already visited the White House twice -- and there was a growing sense among Israeli commentators that something wasn't quite right.

This comes at a time when Israel is facing increasing criticism and isolation from other nations over the war in Gaza.

"If you take the last month and certainly the last week, in a series of moves and a series of statements, Trump not only completely sidelined Netanyahu and kept him out of the loop, but marginalized Israel as if it was not an ally," former senior Israeli diplomat Alon Pinkas, now a columnist for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, told DW. ...

Netanyahu Says Israel Must Wean Itself Off US Aid

"Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel needs to begin the move towards ending its reliance on US military aid amid disputes with the Trumpf junta over a wide range of national security issues.

Netanyahu: "We receive close to four billion dollars for arms. I think we will have to wean ourselves off of American security aid, just as we weaned ourselves off of American economic aid."

Vladimir Putin doesn't want Iran attacked, so Trumpf is following orders and Netanyahu knows it.

Since Thursday, the Israeli Death Forces (IDF) have intensified operations across Gaza, killing more than 100 people, as Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to continue bombings, even as Trumpf fecklessly suggested establishing a "freedom zone" in the enclave.

So, those 100 people are Hamas? Are there 250,000 Hamas fighters in Gaza?

Basically, Trumpf, Marco Rubio, and the rest of the junta accomplished nothing towards peace as they enjoyed delicious food and emir-like hospitality in Doha, Riyadh, and Istanbul. These mini-vacations were all paid for by the hard-working American taxpayer, just like the murder of these Palestinians. Ukraine PM Volodomir Zelensky didn't waste time in Istanbul when Putin did not appear, so he flew to Albania for discussions.

Trumpf came home from his mini-vacation with a brand new plane and defense contracts to enrich the CEOs and Chairmans of the military-industrial complex. And Trumpf wants a Nobel Peace Prize?

International arrest warrants for war crimes issued by the ICC remain active for Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin. Indictments are merely allegations. Both defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
