The rules that Trump's EPA wants to eliminate are projected to save more than 30,000 lives and $275 billion every year. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin says the rollback will "put a dagger through the heart of climate-change religion" and spark a "Golden Age" for the American economy.

What does Pres Trump seem to have against saving American lives and saving money?

Because those are 'woke' lives and 'green' money. He can't have that, as it's more important to pour taxpayer's money into subsidizing oil, gas and coal production. He's intent on getting rid of all subsides for solar and wind (if he could, he would ban solar and wind energy production outright), yet the irony is that during all of the recent Democratic administrations, not once did any of them seriously try to get rid of oil and gas subsidies, which have remained on the books for decades, costing the taxpayers billions each year.

God supports air pollution! He wouldn't have created fossil fuels if He didn't wanr us using them. Every EV on the road is an insult to God and many of the people driving them reject the Bible. I just wish I could afford one so I could reject it too!

... The AP set out to look at what could happen if all the rules were eliminated, by first examining exhaustive assessments the EPA was required to produce before the rules were approved. Though the agency's priorities can change as presidential administrations change, the methods for the assessments have been largely standard since Ronald Reagan's presidency and are deeply rooted in peer-reviewed scientific research.

The AP used those and eight different government and private group databases for its estimate of financial costs, some death estimates and analysis of pollution trends. AP performed additional analysis of potential deaths by drawing on peer-reviewed formulas and scientific research on the impacts of increased heat and pollution. And AP vetted its work with multiple outside health experts, who said it is scientifically justified, but likely an undercount.

Multiple experts say the science behind the rules is strong, and they pointed to the rigorous process that must be followed to change them, including requirements for public comment.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin says the rollback will "put a dagger through the heart of climate-change religion"

If climate change is a religion then I'm going to sue the government and claim that forcing me to breathe carbon emissions is infringing on my religious freedom.
