Hurricane forecasters will soon lose access to government satellite data vital to tracking hurricanes overnight " and to preventing what meteorologists once called a "sunrise surprise," when a storm unexpectedly strengthens or shifts in the darkness. The Pentagon said Monday that it would wait until the end of July before it stops sharing the data " a month later than initially planned " in response to the high level of concern after the move was first announced last week.

They don't care about the people who are hurt by these storms. So why waste the money tracking them. You know

I cannot understand for the life of me what they are thinking when they do ---- like this.

People will die. People will suffer.

But the cruelty is the point.

WHY?

Nothing in the article provides one single statement as to why.

There are lots of quotes regarding the failures caused without the satellite data.

Is this weather wars? To burn and flood places using technology that these satellites already observe?

That could be a reason to hide black technologies.

There is no good reason provided, so they must all be quite bad.
