And now he is trying to make us believe that the tax-cuts for billionaires, and the huge deficit increase they will cause, are beneficial to the American consumer?

A letter to a country on social media, stating unilaterally that a tariff will be applied, is not a "trade deal."
It is a dictum.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Aside from a short-term transactional benefit that Pres Trump can crow about from the Oval Office, what are the longer-term ramifications of what Pres Trump is doing to America's position in world trade and trust?

The next thing you know, El Rey Dotardo II will declare that the US is keeping all of those shipping containers sent to these shores with foreign goods inside. They will be used to house all those criminal field workers rounded up by ICE. In 30 days or so, the containers, each with a couple dozen undocumented immigrants inside, will be sent back to the Asian countries from which they came. Ha! Two problems solved at once. Stable genius at work, doing the weave ...
