Just like the Rwing SC, the Rwing Congress is going to do whatever King Drumpf tells them to do.
This is a one person rule monarchy now.

A shut down will be futile. For the MAGA GOP, it will demonstrate complete fealty to a fat, old insane man. The Dems can ask for any manner of funding, and unless it is paid out immediately to the intended recipients, Herr Dotard will spite the Dems and simply not spend the money, invoking a pocket line-item veto.
It will be fun to watch the majority party blame Dems / Biden / HRC / Charlie Kirk's shooter for this kettle of fish in which they stew. The fat orange oaf has already shouted that the GOP should ignore the Dems, so the Senate will have to either come to a standstill, negotiate with the Dems, or change the rules again, thus moving closer and closer to the chaos of the House. That's something, but it is not leadership, nor is it upholding the institution of the world's foremost deliberative body...
