Mr Harket doesn't hit those high notes like he used to back in the day. But an excellent soothing rendition of the song nonetheless.

Morten Harket is known for his vocal range, which some sources have claimed spans five octaves.[28][29] In regards to his "rumoured five-octave [vocal] range", Harket himself said in 2009: "I've never counted, quite honestly."[1] ...

Josh Turner

"Your Man"

This is a great Karaoke song I like to do for my wife. Of course I don't have the great baritone voice like Josh Turner. So if you can,try to envision Barney Fife serenading this song to Thelma Lou.

That is SO good... I played some flute in college, what with Ian Anderson and Ray Thomas and others around.... but I picked up a friend's sax and played it for like 30 or 40 mins straight, my first reed instrument.

The vibration wouldn't leave me when I stopped, and I remembered it was called the Devil's Horn, and I thought I knew why, haa! It was great! I loved it.

I was thinking it was another Josh Turner, but man, what a deep country resonating voice that guy has. My dad was a Blood on the Saddle Tex Ritter fan. He got the parody and thought it was funny as hell.
Thanks for posting, Shane.

Keb' Mo' - I See Love
www.youtube.com

Yeah, this became a theme song for a TV show.

But, regardless of that aspect, imo, is is a good tune ...

Lyrics excerpt ...

genius.com

...
[Verse 1]
I been high
I been low
I been everywhere I wanted to go
But I never been here before
I been all around the world
Even outer space
But what I'm seeing right now
Feels like a brand new place

[Pre-Chorus]
I was so damn close
If it was a snake
It would have bit me
Crawling right under my nose
Baby I must admit it
That I really didn't get it

[Chorus]
But now you got me singing
La-la-ba-dee-dah
La-la-ba-dee-dah
How could I have been so blind?
Cause now you got me singing
La-la-ba-dee-dah
Oh baby
La-la-ba-dee-dah
For the first time in my life
I see love
I see love
...

OK, speaking of TV themes, the long, uncensored, version of this one ...

Gary Portnoy - Everybody Knows Your Name (theme from Cheers)
www.youtube.com

Lyrics excerpt ...

genius.com

...
[Verse 1]
Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you've got
Taking a break from all your worries
Sure would help a lot
Wouldn't you like to get away?

[Verse 2]
All those nights when you've got no lights
The check is in the mail
And your little angel hung the cat up by its tail
And your third fiance didn't show

[Pre-Chorus]
Sometimes you wanna go

[Chorus]
Where everybody knows your name
And they're always glad you came
You wanna be where you can see (Ah)
Our troubles are all the same (Ah)
You wanna be where everybody knows your name
...

Yeah, that is what we may seem to know from the theme of the show.

But, that theme goes on ...

...
[Verse 3]
Roll out of bed, Mr. Coffee's dead
The morning's looking bright (Morning's looking bright)
And your shrink ran off to Europe
And didn't even write
And your husband wants to be a girl
...

No wonder why the TV version may have dropped that verse ...

But, there it is, in the cited link.
