Sen. Rand Paul on Trump's strikes on boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific: "One boat was said to be in distress and trying to get back to land that was bombed--that was said to be a fisherman. I don't know because I don't have any of the evidence."

"If this president feels that they're [alleged traffickers] doing something illegally, then he should be using the Coast Guard. If it's an act of war, then you use our military, and then you come and talk to us first. But this is murder. It's sanctioned murder that he is doing," he explained."

"Sanctioned" murder?

Simple, cold-blooded murder.

Trump calls a boatload of anonymous people a bad name and then incinerates them.

These murders would not be happening had the Supreme Court not tossed out the Constitution when they ruled on presidential immunity from prosecution.

Let's not forget the role congress has in this by ignoring every single illegal act that Pedo 47 is doing.

Sooner or later, they will be coming for you and I, if we continue to think that we have the right to expression is this country, if we still think we have the right to assemble and petition our government for a redress of grievances. As it is, I am seeing more and more people afraid to speak their minds on electronic media, even in a private capacity.
American fascism is on the march in America and at first the dying will be overseas, then, if another Jan 6 happens to stop the midterms...it will happen here.

Coming to this blog used to be a lark.

Now, and have no mistake, coming here is increasingly dangerous.

We don't get out of scrapes such as Trump is constructing without a lot of people being hurt.

That process, of course, has already begun.

Trump is already using the national security apparatus to find people who are "anti-ICE".

Can't imagine that he won't reach here eventually.

There will be unambiguous martyrs for the cause of American democracy, and it is reasonable to expect them around November of next year as Trump interferes with the mid-terms.

You mean there's no Republicans who want to take Rand Paul's side against extrajudicial execution without trial?

Shocking.

like Obama's Drone strikes

Obama launched nearly 400 drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen alone.

Targeting of U.S. citizens: The program included the controversial targeting of U.S. citizens abroad, with the Department of Justice issuing memos to provide a legal justification. One notable case was the 2011 killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical cleric and U.S. citizen. The strikes also unintentionally killed three other American citizens,
