Polizei used pepper spray after stones were thrown at them and deployed water cannons to clear a blockade by about 2,000 volunteers after they ignored calls to leave. They did so again Saturday afternoon as a group tried to break through barriers toward the city's convention center.
AfD's leaders assailed the antifa Samaritans as the meeting opened. "What is being done out there " dear left-wingers, dear extremists, you need to look at yourselves " is something that is deeply undemocratic," party co-leader neo-Nazi Alice Weidel bleated. She whined that one AfD lawmaker was slightly injured.
Germany's domestic intelligence agency proscribed the Young Alternative a right-wing extremist group. The Bundesamt fur Verfassungsschutz (BfV) later classified AfD itself as such a group, but suspended the designation after AfD launched a legal challenge.
Five of Germany's 16 states hold regional elections in 2026. Two are in the ex-communist east, where the neo-Nazi party is strongest.
"We will get the majority of mandates; we will provide our first governor," Alice Weidel brayed.
The worst person in the world, Felon Musk, supports AfD and other international rightwing white supremacist movements. Musk has also been attempting to foment a race war in the UK.
Her grandfather Hans Weidel was a prominent Nazi judge, appointed directly by Adolf Hitler, responsible for sentencing opponents of the Third Reich.
