Rich Russians flock to Florida to deliver American babies (2019) www.france24.com
... In southern Florida's Sunny Isles Beach, Russian tourists Anna and Helen sip coffee with their husbands and newborn babies: a common scene in what has become a prized destination for well-off foreigners looking to secure US citizenship for their children. Under the shadow of luxury skyscrapers -- among them Trump Towers -- exists an army of well-dressed women, either pregnant or pushing top-of-the-line strollers. Most are Russian or from former Soviet Union countries. The weather, white-sand beaches and dazzling turquoise waters are common reasons given for traveling to give birth in this city of 20,000 people, north of Miami. But one 34-year-old, who gave her name only as Anna, was more direct. "For the American passport!" she told AFP, smiling. She arrived in the US while expecting now two-month-old Melania. Both she and compatriot Helen, mother to a three-month-old, said tens of thousands of dollars and months of planning went into their trips. ...

"Dear Oligarchs: Please buy more Trumpf Gold Cards and produce more anchor-babies to make immigrating to the US easier. The American people just can't wait to have more oligarchic overlords from Russia, the Gulf States, South Africa, Israel, and China enjoying unparalleled tax breaks here while Americans rummage through their furniture looking for loose change to buy Ramen Noodles from the Dollar Store for their evening dinner." Scribbled, The Greatest President in the History of the Galaxy, Dummkopf Trumpf
"Thank you for your attention to this matter."

In the mad rush to apply maximum pain on immigrants, it appears that Quick Draw McTrump didn't give his plan to deny birthright a thorough vetting.

Never count on patriotism from millionaires or especially billionaires, or let them insist on borders. They know borders are a scam, always have been, but they are a great way of keeping the rabble busy defending what they ignore.
They live in their own world bubble... all of them... politicians... industrial / tech titans... celebrities of all stripes included... they love slinging chit... then "expatriating" to "somewhere safe"... while their supporters and fan base are left home with the abusive parent who has nothing to lose... in full tilt tantrum mode... they thumb their nose at the USA from a safe distance like Gallway Bay... while living off the profits of their "modest collection" of private equity investments.

Thankfully, my grandson married an Asian... it ups my gene pool survival rate.

Capitalists created billionaires.
Unfettered capitalism is parasitic.
Eat the rich.

Not at all surprised. Since the mid to late 1970's when Asia first inserted itself into our auto industry... and Carter gave China a "favored trading nation" status.
San Gabriel Blvd, from Mission Blvd south to Montebello, Pico Rivera, Whittier, to East LA, where the West Coast auto industry was based, along with everything else industrial coming out of CA. South of Valley Blvd, it was blue-collar White and Chicano until Asians came over to help Ford and others retool. All gone all Asian now.
I have to admit... it's much nicer now than it was.
borders are a con job

"and Carter gave China a "favored trading nation" status."
Yes he did.
Nixon went to China, to open trade with China.
Every President since has played ball.
Trump was thinking he had a better idea, but Trump can't figure out how not to play ball with China.

Bubba made it Permanent, and then W. made it Normalized, or sonething like that.
Then Trump came along and used his Emergency Trade Powers to do a Liberation Day, and the stock market went down 10% and then Trump said "Just Kidding!" and the stock market went up 10%.
MFN just means no targeted tariffs. That's the favoritism. It means, they wont charge us any higher a tariff than they charge any other nation. So we couldn't tax Chinese stuffed animals at 20% if the ones from Vietnam are only taxed 15%. Basically, free trade, which Republicans have bukkaked beyond recognition over the course of my lifetime but now they're having second thoughts.

Actually... the whole "open-up trade with China" was part of the back-room extract ourselves from the save Vietnam from the commies efforts of Nixon after he kept us involved to get re-elected. I think it's a similar process to selling our largest oil refinery to the Saudis when we were extracting ourselves from Afghanistan... They were making bank on both sides of the conflict... with us just being there...
Eisenhower warned us about the military-industrial complex...
