With Trump's job low disapproval numbers sinking to a miserable 61%, now might be a good time for the Senate GOPers to remove Trump's choak chain from around their neck.

Trump isn't an asset any more at GOPers re-election campaigns. He's a liability. They're begging him to stay away.

It would seem to be so easy for congress to tell the pres, "nope, you're going to to have to show us the reasons (besides oil) for invading a sovereign state that is absolutely no threat to the US." I can't believe that a majority of the country, even among repubs, want to go to war and risk US troops for all the made up reasons I keep seeing from this administration. Has this country really fallen to this level after only 11 months.

There will be a large number of MAGA functionaries getting phone calls from worried parents once their sons are on the ground in South America, getting shot at from every direction, from the local military and militias sponsored by drug lords from far and near. Dead soldiers coming home in boxes may be honored, but angry funerals are not a good look on cable news stations--at least one of them...
