You know the thing is there is DEFINITELY fraud that happens, BUT (as I sit here dealing with Medicaid for a relative) can we make this any more f'd up for recipients who are already assuredly disabled? If you aren't, then I don't know how you can fake your way on. I mean I have a guess or two but the vast majority are truly the disabled and destitute.

There is going to be minimal fraud conducted by recipients it will be up the food chain. The government freaking knows everything - including things you don't. And the sheer ridiculousness of it all... "This was unreported income" well no s--- sherlock, it wasn't required in the reporting as income because it was the PREVIOUS year, what was left was in paperwork in reported accounts and it was all spent on healthcare... I mean the literal absurdity of it all. You have to report income changes (within 10 days) even on Social Security when THEY ALREADY KNOW THE CHANGE BECAUSE IT WAS REPORTED TO THEM.
