The U.S. oil blockade on Cuba is fast exhausting the country's supply of fuel, causing daily blackouts and food shortages. It is also upending the island's universal health care system, which is struggling to provide even basic medical care. nyti.ms/4bTFJ9p

"Jorge Perez Alvarez (21) suffers from a genetic disease preventing his lungs from pumping air on their own. He needs a ventilator at all times to keep breathing.

His ventilator's backup battery is supposed to last more than a day, but that has been tested repeatedly in recent weeks, including three nationwide outages that each pushed up against its limits. And with the power out for hours every day, there is hardly enough time to recharge it.

"I don't know how long we can keep going," said his mother, Xenia lvarez, standing near her son's crumpled body in his bedroom in a poor neighborhood of Havana. "His life depends on electricity."

Politics often seems works as a magnet for people suffering from various degrees of sociopathy.
But these Republicans really are revealing themselves to be something else.
Have these MAGAts never seem to have heard of or met anyone they won't happily grind down or kill for the thrill.
Or a few bucks.

*** Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum Defies Devious Trumpf Junta ***

"Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has confirmed that her country will continue receiving Cuban medical workers, as part of a longstanding program meant to build goodwill between the island and other Latin American countries.

Her defiance come as the inhuman Trumpf junta pressures Latin American countries to sever their ties to Cuba's medical program."

"We have a very good agreement that's also been a great help to us. It's a bilateral agreement that's been very beneficial for Mexico," said the competent President of Mexico.

"It's hard to get Mexican doctors and specialists to go out to many rural areas where we need medical specialists, and the Cubans are willing to work there."

The US Congress inexplicably passed a law that opens the door to sanction countries that continue to participate in the generous Cuban program.

Americans can't have free or inexpensive quality healthcare, so why should anybody else in the world, right?

*** Insidious Trumpf Junta Continues Killing Defenseless People Alleged to be Smugglers in Caribbean Sea ***

"Four male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No US military forces were harmed."

The video is difficult to stomach.

American taxpayer dollars are being used to remorselessly kill human beings in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America without a second thought, but there is no funding for universal healthcare in the US, as enjoyed by the residents of Germany, Israel, Canada, Denmark, and tiny Albania.

**** Dotard Trumpf Allows Russian Oil Tanker Enter Cuban Waters ***

"The sinister Trumpf junta will allow a Russian tanker full of crude oil to reach Cuba, effectively easing an illegal and inhuman blockade that has pushed the island into an energy crisis and has let innocent medical patients suffer or die.

The Russian-flagged tanker, the Anatoly Kolodkin, was headed for Cuba carrying an estimated 730,000 barrels of oil.

Dummkopf Trumpf: 'If a country wants to send some oil into Cuba right now, I have no problem whether it's Russia or not.'

I'm happy for the people of Cuba.

Putin is happier since Trump's war puts billions in Russia's (and his) coffers he can use to kill people in Ukraine.
