"What the hell do you have to lose?"

Well, your voting power is gone, African Americans. So too is representative government which will fight for your interests. Your ability to seek redress for wrongs committed against you is now pretty much gone. Having your children grow up with role models in elected office or the military will soon be toast, especially in Red States. You can look forward to poll taxes, guess the number of pennies in the jar, and the presentation of 5-6 forms of photo ID when trying to vote. You're losing 60 years of advances, and right now don't have a John Lewis or MLK in your corner. All because you weren't going to vote for a woman for president...
