Trumpf signed a memo that sets in motion preparations to house thousands of migrants at the US military camp at Guantnamo Bay, Cuba. He said the US has "30,000 beds in Guantnamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people." Officials who were surprised by Trumpf's announcement said they do not know how many beds for migrants are at Guantnamo or whether it would be a short- or a long-term mission.
