Trump's pardon indicated to this dirtbag that he was, indeed, above the law.
Oh, well...

Matthew Huttle was much better off in prison. Now he's taking a permanent dirt nap and the deputy will have this killing on his conscience for the rest of his life.
Gee, I wonder what made this maniac think that he was above the law?

It seems like the per capita rate of MAGA J6ers being promptly locked up quickly after being released. It's almost as if they're criminal POSes who belong in jail.

An Executive Order to Increase the Crime Rate ... is SO Trump.
And his Base is oblivious as usual. While swing voters are just busy trying to get by in Corporate-Owned America... and are wondering now, "What was I thinking?".
But they are still busy trying to absorb all their financial loss perpetrated on them by the Corporations, who really unsurprisingly took advantage of the Covid crisis to increase profits.

So far, just from articles I've read here, we've had this one who pulled a gun on the cops and died, another who solicited murder and yet another arrested on gun charges. How many other dangerous criminals that Trump happily released upon society are already back in custody or dead? I hope someone is keeping a proper list.
All US citizens BTW, not those scary immigrants Trumpists are so terrified of.

Hmmm. Went to the insurrection because he had nothing else to do after getting out of jail. Must have been a colorful guy. Sadly, the officer who was defending/protecting himself in this fatal altercation will now be treated like he is the one at fault...

Good! Hopefully it's the first of many, these scumbags should have been shot on sight, had they not been white they probably would have been.

Plea deal. He was certainly charged with far more. Clearly his crime rose to felony level. Just like the getaway driver if their partners murder someone robbing a bank.
Federal Criminal Attorneys: 18 U.S. Code 1752 says, "whoever knowingly enters or remains in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority to do so with the intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government official functions, engages in disorderly or disruptive conduct in, or within proximity to, any building or grounds when their conduct impedes or disrupts normal business ... ."
The penalties for violating this federal law depending on the specific actions taken and the circumstances surrounding the crime:
For basic incidents of trespassing on restricted property: the crime is prosecuted as a misdemeanor, and you could face a maximum sentence of one year in jail as defined under 18 U.S.C. 1752(b)(2).
If you carried or used a deadly weapon during the incident, or if anyone suffered significant bodily injury due to the incident: it's charged as a felony, and you could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted as defined under 18 U.S.C. 1752(b)(1)(A).

LOL
So, since this guy is white and obviously a Trump supporter......the police aren't trigger happy thugs anymore?
no questioning of the incident, body cam footage being shared and argued over and over?
the SOB ------ had it coming. The police had no choice. okay.......
or.....is it possible nobody really cares when blacks are gunned down by the police either. they just pretend to give a crap because it's a political wedge issue to get all caught up into?

By definition. Do you not understand that the problem has always been stated as "big scary black man" (even that waif violin player who volunteered at an animal shelter) is what police site as the justification for fearing for their lives - even when a black man doesn't have a gun?
I understand you want to throw some water on this. This guy's white, so massive benefit of the doubt and white privilege was already in full play. He clearly had a gun. I have to think he had multiple warrants out given his record: www.indystar.com
So, personally I believe he was starting out way ahead of any black person in a similar situation because he was white. Given the police are investigating themselves, I doubt we'll find any problem with the shooting. Part of the problem with the system IMHO. Does that mean I think he deserved getting shot? Not for the traffic stop as far as I can tell. Is this another case of police overreaction? I'm always prone to believe so, regardless of race (I've been a victim of extreme overreaction by police and I am white, so I know it happens).
I also go through every day thankful I'm white and not black because of what I've seen.

Oh - and he's an insurrectionist, freed by a criminal, so I just view this as poetic justice.

just pointing out the obvious hypocrisy.

not here. We never discuss white people getting shot unless it's to cheer it....like in this case.
You're not in the least bit interested in knowing the details or context.
just cheering that he's dead.

I'm not. That's true. Don't much care because he's already been afforded MASSIVE privilege. But you can be as upset with how mean the police are to white people as you wish to be. I already said I've experienced it personally in my own life and seen it. I also said I'm damn glad I'm white because of it.
