Thomasz Szabo (26) of Romania, pleaded guilty to being the leader of a years-long conspiracy that targeted victims across the US with "swatting" and bomb threats. Szabo and his co-conspirators falsely reported ongoing violent emergencies at government buildings, houses of worship, and private residences, including the homes of senior government officials. One of those subordinates bragged to Szabo: "I did 25+ swattings today and created massive havoc in America; $500,000+ in taxpayers wasted in just two days." Szabo was extradited from Romania in November 2024. He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of threats and false information regarding explosives and will be sentenced on 23 Oct 2025. read more

A traffic stop because of alleged tinted windows led to a brief chase by Chester PD Officer Michael Brodzinski, who deployed his Taser three times on Wayne Vick (42) who then yelled out in pain from the shocks. Brodzinski then punches Vick in the face twice after being unable to secure his arm behind his back. Vick's supposed non-compliance could have been caused by the electrocution. But rather than use effective pressure points or ju-jitsu techniques taught at the police academies to ensure Vick's compliance, Brodzinski chose to pummel the helpless suspect's face. As a graduate of FLETC and the FBI Defensive Tactics (DT) program, I can attest that US law-enforcement personnel are not taught to punch a prostrate suspect in the face to ensure compliance. read more

Justin Goodrich (34) was arrested after a road rage incident with Adreana Jemison who claims her child was allegedly subjected to assault during the confrontation in Cheektowaga, NY. In the video, you can see and hear the white supremacist repeatedly shouting racial slurs at Jemison in front of his wife and child, accusing her of throwing objects (later identified as loose change) at his car. In response, Jemison alleges that Goodrich had previously assaulted her child during an earlier encounter. The confrontation escalates with a barrage of expletives and slurs, culminating in Jemison retrieving a snow brush as the two come face-to-face. Soon after the situation deescalates and Jemison leaves while vowing to press charges. Following the incident, Goodrich was immediately terminated by his employer, United Refrigeration, which publicly denounced his actions as "inconsistent with the values and policies of the Company." • Police in Mexico detained a suspect known as M-47 who may have ordered the mass killing of the music band Grupo Fugitivo in Tamaulipas state. Relatives of the band members received ransom demands after the men's disappearance; four days later their bodies were discovered. 12 suspects have been arrested in connection with this heinous murder. The Gulf Cartel has its stronghold in Tamaulipas state and engages in the smuggling of drugs and migrants across the US-Mexico border, as well as kidnapping for ransom. Unclear is why the members of Grupo Fugitivo were targeted.
  • A fire killed 12 and injured three people who were reportedly locked up inside a drug rehab center in the violence-plagued Mexican state of Guanajuato. Mexico's privately run drug rehabilitation centers are often abusive, clandestine, unregulated, and underfunded. Rehab centers like this one have been the targets of similar attacks in the past. read more

DHS police handcuffed one of Rep. Jerry Nadler aides in the congressmember's Manhattan office, which is in the same federal office building as an immigration courthouse. DHS officers entered Nadler's district office and accused staff members of "harboring rioters." A Nadler staffer is seen crying and being handcuffed. Another officer is at a door trying to enter a private area of the office while a staffer asks for a warrant. DHS later said in a statement that "one individual" " the woman seen being handcuffed " had blocked police from performing a security check they intended to do based on information there were protesters in the lawmaker's office. Later that day, protesters gathered outside of the federal building, demonstrating against ICE. "If this can happen in a Member of Congress's office, it can happen to anyone " and it is happening," said the veteran congressman. Video: YouTube Link read more
