There are protests, and there are protests. Reader M.G. in Boulder, CO brings to our attention a particularly ... interesting protest that appears to be the work of artist Julia Jimenez-Pyzik. Having received a permit to install an artwork on the National Mall (the permit expires October 30), Jimenez-Pyzik installed this.
By "Asians" we mean people who live in Asia, especially leaders of Asian countries. We don't mean Asian-American voters. They tend to be Democrats because Republicans, especially Donald Trump, often use minorities as whipping boys (and girls). Americans are worried silly about the election, but Asian government and business leaders in India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and other Asian countries (except China) don't think there is much difference between the candidates. For them, the biggest issue is dealing with China. Both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have put reining in China high on their to-do lists. They have different plans but neither one is China-friendly and that's what counts for the leaders of the various Asian nations.
The first congressional election was in 1788.

Nope.
I'm hoping that those of us who are not political remoras are at least swimming in the same direction, heading towards the same goal, and are willing to show such solidarity with one another through action, deed and word.
Apparently, that's not the case with some of us on the left side of the aisle.
In fact, some of us on the left side of the aisle have been called enemies by those who were, ostensibly, on the same side.

The reality is, you support a candidate that wants to force women to give birth to a child with Potter sequence, forcing that mother to hold her cold, blue child for the first (and only) 90 minutes of its life, suffocating to death in her mother's arms, while there's nothing that the mother or medical science to do to offer that poor child comfort.
Instead, she has to suffocate to death in her mother's arms for her only 90 minutes in life.
That's you, and the rest of your ilk who think that America is a garbage can.
