Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Former President Donald Trump's support in Pennsylvania ahead of Election Day is "astonishing," according to Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). "And anybody spends time driving around, and you can see the intensity," the Democrat said. "It's astonishing. I was doing an event in Indiana County " very, very red. And there was a superstore of Trump stuff, and it was a hundred feet long, and it was dozens of T-shirts and hats and bumper stickers and all kinds of, I mean, it's like, Where does this all come from? It's the kind of thing that has taken on its own life."

Any thoughts on why Fetterman said this in his interview?

"Any thoughts on why Fetterman said this in his interview?"

Because as James Carville once said, "PA is Pittsburgh and Philadelphia with Alabama in between." You know how popular Trump is in Alabama, in the South in general, so it shouldn't suprise anyone that Trump is popular in a wide swath of PA. As for the intensity of Trump's support among his MAGA base, I see it here in this red county (starting to trend purple) in NY where I live. The house across the street has a Trump flag and two Trump yard signs. Another house in the neighborhood has two Trump flags and two Trump yard signs. A couple of other houses have really big Trump signs that stretch across the whole front of the house. A few months back one house hung a long sign across the front porch that read, "---- Joe Biden."

There are Harris signs in the neighborhood as well. Most houses have one, maybe two yard signs, but I haven't seen any large Harris signs or any Harris flags. There was some yard sign drama in the neighborhood recently. At the entrance to the neighborhood there is a brick wall with grass in front of it. A few weeks ago there was a Trump sign and a few other signs, Democrat and Republican, for lesser offices. Then a Harris sign appeared. One day later it was knocked over. Someone put it back up, and then the next day it was not just knocked over but broken so that it couldn't stand up anymore. None of the other signs were touched, including the Trump sign. A few days after that someone put up four Harris signs, grouped together so they are touching each other and pushed them low to the ground so they are harder to knock down. Every day for the past week or so when I leave the neighborhood I check to see if the Harris signs are still standing. So far so good.

All that is just to say that, yes, Trump supporters in general have a certain intensity, at times laced with anger and belligerence, which is why I say they are the ones with TDS.

Here's an interview with a Democrat in a Republican ccounty in PA talking about how liberals get harassed at family gatherings that Fetterman posted on his X account:

Like the awestruck, over exuberant throngs cheering Hitler as he rode in an open car in German cities.

(The rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say, is that Hitler killed himself, his top echelon ended up dead or imprisoned, Germany's major cities little but piles of rubble, and average Germans suffered for years thanks to his fascist, nationalist bull....)

#4.Gal. Ive lived in an area for a long time that is low crime and high quality of life.

But to add relevant info see below. upgradedhome.com

The single biggest factor in PA that determines whether it has low crime rates and great liveability is political affiliation of residents and leaders. Demographics is also a huge factor. High urban congestion led by Democrats that encourage poverty and crime is an inevitable trip to a hell hole where bars on windows and doors required. Ive lived it and seen it. Any area that has high TRUMP MAGA support with low Dem political corruption and contamination is a safe pleasant place.

Democrat leadership breeds corruption, crime and poverty. Voting for Republican leadership is ultimately voting for a safe and pleasant community.

Democrat sanctuary open door policy without required cultural assimilation and vettimg destroyed Hazleton just like the treasonous Democrats destroyed San Francisco and many other places.

And another item of high interest is the Amish are now so enthused about Trump that some of them are even voting and having Buggy Road Rallies for him. I want to tell Fetterman about this new wave of enthusiasm that has never happened before.

"And there was a superstore of Trump stuff..."

The most spectacular specimens are in the back right corner: pairs of silvery, veiny metal --------- hanging from a ring and wrapped in protective clear plastic. "That's Trump's balls," the store's owner, Whitey Taylor, explains. The smaller set costs $75, the larger, $125. They're heavy.

What's actually astonishing is that Western religion, especially in this country, have such a poor understanding of their faith.... one that often leads them down exactly the wrong roads.

Fundie "christians" and now Amish, I s'pose, and other fringe religious movements, make a farce of NT teachings by their traditions, which, "make void the word of God".

Be careful not to overhype the Amish vote for Trump because it appears that some election interference regarding that is being investigated:

PA officials nvestigating 2500 voter registrations for fraud

Officials in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, are investigating about 2,500 voter registrations after election workers discovered signs that they may be fraudulent.

Good link, Gal...

I would be just totally shocked if it turned out that these Trumpers are willing to commit these kind of crimes just to cause so much doubt as to get some cases to Courts to contest the Election.

I mean it's not like they won't expect to be Pardoned by Orange Hitler.

But then, if he loses, or even if wins and then Fs them over like all the Fake Electors and rioters who are in prison now for crimes he led them to commit, he may still get away with insurrection and they may well rot in a cell somewhere.

#21 | Posted by Corky at 2024-10-27 06:02 PM | Reply

Republicans and conservatives statistically dont commit crimes. That is always the deceitful provenance of Democrats who then lie or pretend crime by their radical followers is going down. Their goal is to hurt us not to make USA great.
