1) 50% of farm workers are undocumented.
2) Under Trump, ICE and CBP these farm workers aren't showing up to pick the crops.
3) Crops are rotting because there are no workers and because of tariffs.
4) Tariffs caused a 4X increase in shipments from Mexico to the US beating the tariff implementation date.
5) The increase resulted in the price of tomatoes (just one example) from $16 to $3-$4/box. A 400-533% decrease.
6) American farmer's breakeven is $10-$11/box.
7) As a result, it's cheaper to destroy the crops.
8) Another impact example: Mexican watermelon is no longer being imported to the US and is now going to Canada. No Tariffs.
9) American watermelon farmers have no market to sell except within the United States.

A side note: 86% of Americans are suffering anxiety from grocery prices.
