This is Trump, though. He's a walking ------- and comedy show where everything circles back to him. Here's some examples:

1. Laughs at COVID - almost dies from COVID.

2. Says "Lock'em up" to his opponents, sees his people (and rightfully so) locked up and he himself almost gets jailed.

3. Says Mexico will pay for the wall - YOU pay for the wall.

4. Says 1st Ammendment rights are under attack - he wants to shut out free press.

5. Says the election is rigged against him - tries to steal an election.

Well, the pardons already seem to be backfiring.

One was pulled over for a vehicle infraction, had guns, and ended up being shot by a deputy.

Another is currently wanted for soliciting a minor (Per Daily Beast).

And the really big ones were already seen around the Capitol (talking to politicians) and now have been given free access to go there with the courts permission.

Won't end well, just sayin'...........

Well, I guess those people who thought pardons would just lay all the J6 invesigations to rest and get the GOP to governing the country were wrong.

They won't let it go - and it will be interesting to see how they divert from the obvious actions of their leader - one Don Trump.

He's a lame duck President. Anyone who understands politics knows the ramifications.

His ardent supporters might think he's a king, but Congress has to be aware of independents and not bending to the King on everthing, because they'll potentially a lot longer than he'll be which is just four years.

As he gets deeper into his Presidency, he'll become less a presence (and that will kill him). Not literally, settle down.

Maybe Trump can defend the pardons for J6 by saying "It wasn't them....it was really my fault".

We can't commit crimes. But don't say we do, how dare you!!!!

Generally I would be against these pardons - and still am. Because they did nothing wrong and that would be proven in a court of law.

But there lies the problem. These people would most likely have to defend themselves in such a setting - which would be time and money - in particular, a WASTE of both and make their lives miserable. And when you consider Trump (breaker of norms) says he would possibly come after them with his justice department, the question maybe should be why wouldn't you pardon these people. This is the world we live in with Donald Trump.

Trump, on the other hand, who considers himself a martyr - actually did commit acts worthy of having charges brought against him. He just believed he was above the law.
