Be wary of those rationalizing that destroying Iran will help the Ukrainians in their struggle against Russia. Of course that will be the case, since the Kremlin will lose one more supplier of weapons, like the Shaheed drone.

But for three years, Belarus, North Korea, China, India, Myanmar, Mali, and Eritrea have also supported Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. North Korean soldiers have been killed fighting for Russia. India indirectly finances the Kremlin's military by increased oil and gas imports, like China has been doing since Feb 2022.

But with the exception of Iran, there is no attempt by the rightwing at persuading the American audience to attack any of these other Russian allies. Why? Because none of these countries directly threaten Israel militarily like Iran, one of the few voices in the Middle East fighting against the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank.

Nuclear-armed North Korea, like Israel, did not sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), unlike Iran which did. Tel Aviv and Pyongyang do not cooperate with the IAEA. Tehran cooperated under the JCPOA and IAEA until Dotard Trumpf tore up the agreement. The real nuclear proliferation threat come from North Korea and Israel, but who is discussing changing those regimes?

Over the decades Israel invaded Lebanon twice. Remember the Sabra and Shatila massacre 16"18 Sep 1982? 1,300 to 3,500 civilians, mostly Palestinians and Lebanese Shias, were slaughtered. Israel is occupying parts of Syria. Now Israel launches a surprise attack against the sovereign country of Iran. But because the victims are Muslims, nobody in the Judeo-Christian West cares.

Who is the aggressive nuclear-powered threat in the Middle East? Iran? How many people has Tehran killed in 2025? 55,000 like the Israelis?

Hi JPW: Yes, you are correct about the larger jammers used in home invasions and possibly aircraft. I showed the smaller version in my OP. My wife and I keep an old-style landline telephone that will work in a power outage and that can't be jammed. Sure enough, during a blackout a few years ago one of our friends without a landline killed the battery on his Smartphone and he was unable to call anyone.
