President Donald Trump visited the new migrant detention center in the Florida Everglades dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz" and "Gator Gitmo." Video revealed rows upon rows of empty industrial metal bunk beds enclosed in hastily constructed cages made up of chain fences. "[President] Biden wanted me in here, that son of a b"h," Trump said jokingly. "I looked outside, and that's not a place I want to go hiking anytime soon," Trump told reporters after his tour. "We're surrounded by miles of treacherous swampland, and the only way out is really deportation." The complex, located at the Dade Collier Training and Transition Airport, will cost an estimated $450 million a year to operate, and the first victims are set to arrive this week. Alligators, crocodiles, pythons, and a host of pathogen-carrying mosquitos infest the swamps. read more
President Trump threatened NYC Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani with arrest, should he be elected and follow through with a campaign promise to "stop masked ICE agents from deporting our neighbors." Trump said the DOJ would react swiftly to any such obstruction to ICE's operations. "Well then, we'll have to arrest him. Look, we don't need a communist in this country, but if we have one, I'm going to be watching over him very carefully on behalf of the nation," Trump warned. The comments are Trump's latest attack on Mamdani, who he called a "total nut job." "A lot of people are saying he's here illegally," Trump smearing him without evidence. Trump threatened to withhold federal funding from New York if, should Mamdani be elected mayor, he didn't "behave himself." "If he does get in, I'm going to be president, and he's going to have to do the right thing, or they're not getting any money. He's got to do the right thing or they're not getting any money." read more
In the vast agricultural lands north of Los Angeles, stretching from Ventura County into the state's central valley, two farmers, two field supervisors and four immigrant farmworkers said that the ICE raids have led a majority of workers to stop showing up for work. That means crops are not being picked and fruit and vegetables are rotting at peak harvest time. One Mexican farm supervisor, who asked not to be named, was overseeing a field being prepared for planting strawberries. Usually he would have 300 workers, but on this day he had just 80. Another supervisor at a different farm said he usually has 80 workers in a field, but on that day just 17. Link: YouTube.com . read more
The DOJ is prioritizing the revocation of US citizenship from individuals charged with certain crimes per this 11 June memo. The ten categories of crimes that could lead to citizenship being stripped range from "war crimes" to COVID loan fraud. Individuals "who pose a potential danger to national security, including those with a nexus to terrorism, espionage, or the unlawful export from the US of sensitive goods, technology, or information, raising national security concerns" will be among those prioritized for denaturalization. read more

Meanwhile, Russia lost its third jet fighter of the year and Trumpf's Special Envoy says it's the Kremlin delaying peace talks. Retired US Army General Keith Kellogg: "Peskov's recent comments on the state of negotiations are Orwellian. Russian claims that it is the US and Ukraine stalling peace talks are unfounded." Kellogg emphasised that the US president has consistently and persistently advocated for progress in ending the war. "We urge an immediate ceasefire and a move to trilateral talks to end the war. Russia cannot continue to stall for time while it bombs civilian targets in Ukraine," he added. Link: www.pravda.com.ua

Hi Lamplighter: Izmir is a secular stronghold in Turkiye, so these arrests do not surprise me. When walking around the covered bazaar in Istanbul (Kapili Carsi), few Kemal Ataturk items are sold openly under the AK regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan. But apparently souvenirs, flags, and plates with Ataturk's visage may be bought openly in Izmir, to Erdogan's dismay. imageio.forbes.com

A US aviation company wasn't hit this time by cybercriminals, but Qantas was.
Qantas Airways announced that a significant cybersecurity breach may affect six million customers. An initial review has confirmed the data includes some customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, and frequent flyer numbers.
Importantly, credit card details, personal financial information and passport details are not held in this system. No frequent flyer accounts were compromised nor have passwords, PIN numbers or log in details been accessed.

Here is another reason why AIPAC, with the nefarious aid and abettance of turncoat Democrats like odious and noxious Andrew Cuomo, Chuck Schumer, and Kirsten Gillibrand, want to destroy NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. As Mayor of the Big Apple, Mamdani would have power to appoint whom he pleases as Chancellor of CUNY, the largest public university system in the US: nypost.com

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is one to talk. He capitulated on the GOP bill in March to ensure US military aid continued uninterrupted to Israel. Voila! The GOP bill passed and the so-called "ceasefire" ended, letting the IDF resume its ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip. Who do the heck does AIPAC-mired Chuck Schumer think he is fooling pretending to be on the side of hardworking, peace-loving Americans?

Decades ago in NYC, security contractors affiliated with the Nation of Islam were booted out of federal contracts because of alleged antisemitism. The young men of the Fruit of Islam (FOI) were all lean, polite karate practitioners who did not smoke or drink. Everybody felt safe in those housing projects with them as their sentinels. I used to buy bean pies from them in Brooklyn. AIPAC losing NYC means lucrative contracts won't be going to Israeli-affiliated security firms. This is yet another reason why AIPAC wants to torpedo poor Zohran Mamdani.
