For those of you have been following my previous analyses about why AIPAC and the status quo do not want Zohran Mamdani as NYC Mayor (I've listed plenty), here is yet another one. If elected Mayor, Zohran Mamdani selects the NYPD Commissioner. For decades the NYC taxpayer has been funding the NYPD to host liaison teams in over a dozen countries (and in the US) as part of its plan to combat 'global jihad." These US Embassies already have DOS RSOs, CIA and DIA officers, as well as DEA SAs and FBI Legal Attaches (SAs). These NYPD detectives enjoy wonderful tours in these cities, but bring nothing to the table other than bonhomie and NYPD chackis according to State Dept and USIC personnel. This wasteful program would most likely be scrapped under Mamdani to save NYC taxpayers millions of dollars, but would piss off the NYPD detectives looking forward to a pleasant tour in Tel Aviv, Canberra, or Madrid. (Full disclosure: Years ago I knew a few NYPD Intelligence Division detectives-- all nice guys with funny stories.)

A US aviation company wasn't hit this time by cybercriminals, but Qantas was.

Qantas Airways announced that a significant cybersecurity breach may affect six million customers. An initial review has confirmed the data includes some customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, and frequent flyer numbers.

Importantly, credit card details, personal financial information and passport details are not held in this system. No frequent flyer accounts were compromised nor have passwords, PIN numbers or log in details been accessed.

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is one to talk. He capitulated on the GOP bill in March to ensure US military aid continued uninterrupted to Israel. Voila! The GOP bill passed and the so-called "ceasefire" ended, letting the IDF resume its ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip. Who do the heck does AIPAC-mired Chuck Schumer think he is fooling pretending to be on the side of hardworking, peace-loving Americans?

Decades ago in NYC, security contractors affiliated with the Nation of Islam were booted out of federal contracts because of alleged antisemitism. The young men of the Fruit of Islam (FOI) were all lean, polite karate practitioners who did not smoke or drink. Everybody felt safe in those housing projects with them as their sentinels. I used to buy bean pies from them in Brooklyn. AIPAC losing NYC means lucrative contracts won't be going to Israeli-affiliated security firms. This is yet another reason why AIPAC wants to torpedo poor Zohran Mamdani.
