Dummkopf Trumpf launched into a bizarre, stream-of-consciousness monologue to open a televised Cabinet meeting at the White House that went for 3 hours and 16 minutes. The Dotard veered into an awkward "bit" as he said looks were not important in politics, and suggested that if he praised USAG Pam Bondi's physical attributes, his career would be over. "I look at Pam. I would never say she's beautiful, because that's gonna be the end of my political career," he bleated. After the awkward compliment, Trumpf lurched from subject to subject without interruption as members of the junta listened and occasionally laughed at his insipid remarks. Trumpf mixed up the drug companies Eli Lilly and Johnson & Johnson, while claiming he was cutting prescription drug prices for Americans by 1,500 percent. The octogenarian rambled about transgender athletes and tthe age of AIPAC-funded Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), saying he looked like he was 100 years old. read more

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced in a cabinet meeting that his agency has identified "interventions" that it says are behind rising autism rates and will "address them" next month. "We will have that answer for you," RFK Jr told Dotard Trumpf. He did not elaborate on what the "interventions" were, or how HHS will address them. The nephew of JFK first pledged in April to find the "environmental toxin" that he says must be behind rising autism rates by Sep 2025. Scientists dispute the reasons autism rates have rapidly increased in the last few decades, but most believe a combination of factors including better diagnostic criteria, genetics, and environmental pollution is likely at play. Experts have also doubted whether Kennedy's self-imposed September deadline was realistic. Even Kennedy's own CDC director said it's difficult to set hard deadlines when it comes to scientific discoveries. read more

At least a half-dozen universities across the country welcomed students to first-day-of-fall classes Monday with run-and-hide warnings about possible gunmen on campus. In almost all the cases, the reports were hoaxes or swatting calls. A few campuses said simply that no evidence of a gunman or violence was found. Students at the University of Arkansas, University of Colorado Boulder, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, the University of New Hampshire and Northern Arizona University, were terrorized by the false alarms. The University of South Carolina received two reports of an active shooter at Thomas Cooper Library in Columbia on Sunday night, the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga received a hoax active shooter call on August 21 and Villanova University near Philadelphia received two false active shooter reports during freshman orientation last week. read more

As morale among US ICE personnel sinks to new lows, the Trumpf junta is wasting more than $120,000 on a pair of high-performance Mustang GT Fastbacks to enhance the embattled deportation agency's efforts to attract new recruits. Obtaining the vehicles was "an immediate request by the White House, on Thursday, 7 August 2025," according to a federal procurement document. The Mustangs are expected to "enhance" the Trumpf junta's push to add some 14,000 new ICE agents "by serving as a bold, high-performance symbol of innovation, strength and modern federal service," and that the Mustang's "eye-catching design increases public engagement at outreach events and helps attract top talent by conveying a culture of excellence and forward momentum." read more

A person in Maryland has been diagnosed with a rare flesh-eating parasite known as the New World screwworm after traveling from Guatemala, marking the first confirmed human case in the US. The New World screwworm, a fly whose larvae burrow into living tissue, primarily affects cattle and other warm-blooded animals but can also infect people in rare cases. It causes severe, sometimes fatal damage if untreated. This is the first confirmed US case since the outbreak began to escalate in Central America and southern Mexico. read more
